Registration

  • Parking is limited so please register in advance. Payment is available online or the day of the event. If you choose to pay at the event fill out the registration form and choose 'Invoice Me' at checkout. Our system will generate an invoice that will reserve your registration. You can also make payment by check either dropping it off at the Chamber office or via mail.

4th Annual Founders Day Block Party Car Show

Saturday, October 11th, 2025 | 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Penny Park, 1355 Donner Trail, Silver Springs 

  • Block Party is located on Truckee St on the backside of the Park, Check-in is at the corner of Ft Churchill St & Truckee St (next block past the post office)

It’s back—and bigger than ever! The Founders Day Block Party Car Show returns for its 4th year, and we can’t wait to celebrate another great day of cars, community, and fun.

Event Highlights

  • Expanded parking this year (but still limited—please register in advance).

  • Parking & check-in: 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM (unless you’re also joining the Founders Day Parade—see parade registration for details). Parade begins at 10:00 AM at the Senior Center and flows into Penny Park & Car Show.  We reserve parking for those cars that participate in the Parade.

  • People’s Choice Awards: Presented promptly at 1:00 PM.

  • Delicious food trucks

  • A fun-filled kids zone

  • Craft vendors and local businesses

  • Raffle & silent auction with great prizes

  • Live music and entertainment all day long!
